Are there side effects?Updated 2 years ago

Before using your sauna, you should always consult with a doctor. During your first couple of sessions, or even after months of uneventful use, you may experience a healing reaction that can manifest as temporary physical or emotional symptoms. These may include aches and pains, fatigue, or moodiness. It is usually a mild reaction that occurs as a result of detoxing, and generally, decreasing your session duration and frequency or taking a break from your sauna for a week is sufficient to allow the body to process and get over the detox reaction, after which you can return to your normal use. If symptoms persist or worsen, see your doctor right away.
