Note: If you own a Hearth or Glow model without a SaunaSpace® enclosure, you will not need to use the grounding cord.

HOW TO CONNECT YOUR GROUNDING MAT

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Locate the grounding sleeve
Follow the power cord extending from your panel until you find the grounding sleeve attachment point.
  2. Connect the grounding cable
  3. Fully couple the power cord connection.
  4. Insert the grounding cable into the banana jack on the grounding sleeve.
  5. You may notice an extra plug on the jack—this is normal, and only one is needed. Either one can be used.
  6. If you have the SuperSauna, only one grounding cord is required—only one Hearth needs to be connected.
  7. Press firmly to ensure the connection is fully seated.
  8. Secure the grounding sleeve
  9. Wrap and snap the sleeve around the power cord where the connection is made to hold everything in place.

✨ If you purchased the EMF shield SilverLining upgrade

  1. Reach through the cord opening and locate the grounding strap attached to the EMF Shield layer.
  2. Unsnap the jack on the grounding mat.
  3. Snap the grounding strap from the EMF Shield into its place on the banana jack.
  4. Plug the other end of the grounding cord into the banana jack on the SilverLining strap.
  5. This ensures the EMF shielding layer is properly grounded.

⚡ Why Do I Need a Grounding Sleeve?

The grounding sleeve contains a layer of our specialized shielding material and features banana jack connectors that allow you to properly connect your Grounding Mat and/or SilverLining® shielding layer for grounding. The material sewn into the sleeve ensures proper grounding at that power cord connection point.

Once your panel’s power cord is plugged into a wall outlet, the entire system becomes grounded—no additional external grounding setup is needed. It’s a fully self-contained system!
