How long should I use my Glow®?Updated 15 days ago

For targeted red and near-infrared therapy on the face or throat, we recommend sessions of 5–10 minutes. For other areas of the body, sessions can last up to an hour—moving the Glow from one spot to another as needed. Some users enjoy multiple short sessions throughout the day. Start gradually and adjust based on comfort and response.

When using on the head or neck: Limit to 10-minute sessions with the Glow positioned 12–40 inches away. ~15 inches is ideal for most people. If using more than once per day on these sensitive areas, allow an hour of rest between sessions.

How hot does the area get when I use the Glow? It really comes down to your session duration and comfort level. Move the panel around the area and closer/further within the usage range to find what is right for you! 

What if I’m using the Glow as ambient light? Different story entirely. When the Glow isn’t aimed directly at the body, say it’s angled upward, bounced off a wall, or illuminating your space from the corner, it can stay on for much longer. Many people use it as a warm desk light, yoga companion, meditation enhancer, or evening wind-down ritual. As ambient light, you can bask in the glow for hours at a time.
