What are your protective bulb guards made of and why are they beneficial?Updated a month ago

Our Hearth® and Glow® lamp guards are made of uncoated stainless steel and are grounded inside the panel (both panels feature this grounding). The bulb guard protects the user from the electric fields created by the bulbs' tungsten filament. It also protects against burn risk!

 The bulb's glass gets very hot during operation and stays hot for a few moments when you turn it off. The guard only becomes very warm during operation and cools seconds after the panel is turned off.

The suggested way to use our Glow® Infrared Therapy Light or Hearth® Infrared Sauna Panel is with the guards fully closed during operation. Failure to use the guard properly could lead to burns and EMF exposure. Any tampering with the guard automatically voids the warranty.
