FireLight® Sauna and FireLight® Sauna with SilverLining™ Usage Protocol- Heat SensitiveUpdated 4 months ago

FireLight® Sauna and FireLight® Sauna with SilverLining™ Usage (even when you use the Glow® in the sauna)(read our user manual)

Clearance: From the front of the lamp guards to the user is minimum 18 inches / max 30 inches (average 24 inches)

Time of day: Best to use the sauna first thing in the morning or just before bedtime. At these times one is most relaxed, and the more one relaxes into the parasympathetic nervous state, the more one will sweat and so promote safe, maximal detoxification.

ABOUT THE HEAD: Direct exposure to the head should be limited to 10 minutes per session. When the panel is adjusted as suggested direct exposure to the head is minimal. The best practice is to hang the head in front of the lights for 10 minutes a session. This is all the time, acclimation period or not!

Acclimation period: The first 3-4 weeks of ownership only use for 20-30 minutes at a frequency of every other or every second day (~3 days a week, If one is sensitive begin with 1-2 times per week)

After the acclimation period: Focus on increasing session duration first. Once you have a duration you like, increase the frequency per week. Max recommended duration is 1 hour a day (can be split into two sessions). Max recommended frequency is 2 times per day. Most users do at least 3 sessions per week.

Standard rotation: usage range above, user rotates a quarter turn every 5-10 minutes (sooner if your body says too)

Alternate rotation: usage range above, user rotates half turn every 10-15 minutes. Example- front faces the guards, back faces the guards

KEEP IN MIND

As soon as you turn the bulbs on, in a therapeutic range, you are receiving deep penetrating light therapy (PBM). The benefits of heat therapy for detox are based on hyperthermic heating and passive sweating in a parasympathetic state. To achieve a proper sweat you need an enclosure where the ambient air temperature at 100-120+°F (38-49+°C).
